Review: "Wake" by Lisa McMann

Hey guys!
Sorry I didn't blog yesterday, homework keeps me pretty busy!
Anyways, I read a great book called "wake" last year and I decided to review it because I loved it so much.
Basically the story is about a regular 17- year-old high school girl named Janie Hannagan. At first she may seem like any other teenage girl. But in reality, boys, school, and mean girls are the least of her worries. Janie gets sucked into peoples dreams. Yeah, you heard me right, she gets sucked into dreams. She's cursed with an ability that she doesn't want and can't control. One minute she'll be studying for a test, next minute she'll be witnessing somebody's dreams, and she's getting tired of it. Especially the sex-crazed dreams, the naked-but-nobody-notices dreams, and the falling dreams - she's seen it all.
Then one day she meets Cabel, and her life is changed forever.

The setup of the story is different. There are chapters, but in each chapter there are different paragraphs, and each paragraph has a time. When it's a different day, a month, day, year AND time are labeled. It's a good way to let the reader know when each paragraph is taking place.

This book has got it all. It's disturbing (in a good way!), full of action and thrills, and a perfect amount of romance. 'Cause you know us girls, we love the romance! ;D
It's a great story, and I know you'll love it as much as I do!
