Hey guys!
So, I was just thinking; Why are adults so... picky about what teen's should be like? Whenever we take out our cell phones or laptops, they always say something about "Well when I was a kid, we didn't have anything like that!" Well, you're not kids anymore.
It's the same when we sit down on a couch. Adults immediately assume that we're lazy and tell us about how different life on the farm was, and how you had to wake up really early in the morning and how much work there was. Well, then why didn't you move us onto a farm if you think we need to work really hard?
But what I hate the most is when they complain about how THEY have to pay the bills and THEY have to cook dinner and THEY have to clean. I agree, teens should definately help out, but it shouldn't be our full time job! When they were kids, their parents did all that for them. Now they have kids and it's their job to take care of us! Then we'll do the same for our kids.
I just think that if they think we're lazy or take technology for granted, then they should remind themselves that they were the ones that raised us to believe what we believe.
