Too Much Homework!

Hey guys!
Well, maybe I should start off on a good note. Yay! Grade 8! Senior year! We're the leaders of the school, that means no older kids looking down on us! We also get the best feature's in the whole school! Grad, an over night trip (Brock in May, can't wait!), Sex Ed. (NOT!), and high school next year!
Although all of these cool and fun things probably sound inviting to children in lower grades, don't be fooled. There are too many bad things about it to be won over by a few cool things. There's HPV shots (very, very painful) which happen to be taking place tomorrow, high school next year (you may have noticed that I put this in the cool features list too. To me, high school has its pros and cons!), pressure to get good grades because grade 8 determines your high school courses, Sex Ed., and HOMEWORK! Oh yes, the heaping pile of never-ending homework. Sometimes I wonder; are teachers trying to overwork us? Because sometimes I get so much of it that it's unbearable! For example, today I came home with my speech, speech planning sheet, speech organization sheet, math sheet, spelling sheet, major science project, major science test to study for, and a quote of the day to be explained! Oh, and did I forget to mention that most of this is due tomorrow?!
Yep, it's true. If you want to make it through grade 8, then you better be one tough biatch!
